Objectives of Nanomaterials Research Laboratory Chitkara University, Punjab

  • To develop high-performance energy storage devices, such as coin and pouch cell supercapacitors, using optimized nanomaterials.
  • To explore nanomaterial-based solutions for clean hydrogen production, contributing to sustainable and green energy technologies.
  • To synthesize and optimize nanomaterials using both green and chemical routes for advanced technological applications.
  • To design and develop biosensors for non-invasive glucose monitoring using sweat and tear analysis.
  • To engineer nanostructures for biomedical applications, including precise tear evaluation techniques.
  • To explore electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding solutions through functional nanomaterial-based sensor systems.
  • To apply nanomaterials in forensic science, especially for enhancing latent fingerprint detection capabilities.
  • To assess and validate the antimicrobial efficacy of engineered nanomaterials for healthcare and hygiene solutions.
  • To foster interdisciplinary research and innovation in advanced nanomaterials synthesis, characterization, and application.
