IOT AND CLOUD COMPUTING LAB

The Internet of Things (IoT) is starting to transform how we live our lives, but all of the added convenience and increased efficiency comes at a cost. The IoT is generating an unprecedented amount of data, which in turn puts a tremendous strain on the Internet infrastructure. As a result, companies are working to find ways to alleviate that pressure and solve the data problem. Cloud computing will be a major part of that, especially by making all of the connected devices work together. But there are some significant differences between cloud computing and the Internet of Things that will play out in the coming years as we generate more and more data. This lab aims at providing the solutions to various IoT issues and collaboration of IoT with the cloud. Our team consists of specialists in cloud and IoT that share a passion for exploring more innovative ideas.

Smart Portable Intensive Care UnitInventor's: Dr. S.N Panda, Mr. Naveen Kumar, Mr. Rajesh Kaushal

It is a wireless unit, which work through internet based innovation outfitted with cloud based server to remotely monitor and diagnose a patient. With the framework the patient will be under the observation of specialist doctor through the smartphone/ tablet/ PC.

Workshop on Node.js, Python and Computer Networks	Dr. S.N.Panda and Dr. Rajesh Kumar Kaushal were invited at Kasetsart University, Sakon Nakhon, Thailand to deliver a workshop on Node.js, Python and Computer Networks using Packet Tracer. Approximate, 30 participants, including faculty and students, attended the series. The talk was scheduled from 26th November to 28th November 2019. 2.	Ethical Networking and Hacks	The workshop was organized by Robotech Labs at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR). The workshop featured a brief introduction to the world of networking and hacking, stated with the importance of ethics and their need in today's world scenario. 3.	Basic Statistical Analysis using SPSS	The workshop was organized by the Indian Institute of Public Health (IIPH), Delhi. This workshop was proposed to cover basic statistical concepts required for understanding study results along with hands-on experience of doing basic analysis using the statistical software SPSS (IBM SPSS Statistics 22). 4.	Deep Learning and Applications	The workshop was organized by the MNIT Jaipur and have collaborated as one of the remote centers for these programs to organize a workshop at CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation. This workshop was proposed to cover state-of-the-art lectures, hands-on lab sessions, tool demonstrations, and discussion/presentation sessions on various Deep Learning applications.
